Geoff is married to Pam and both were pioneers of the church in 1983. They have 2 sons.. His employment in the construction industry gave him insight and experience into leadership, project management and planning up until he was released to work full time in the church. Geoff continues to live with a passion to see the church of Jesus, in all its beauty that God intended it to be. His leadership, and preaching has inspired the believers both here and abroad, where Geoff provides support and encouragement to churches in Lesotho and in South Africa.

Mike is married to Ali and they have 3 sons. He loves trains as well as walking hills and mountains... but we don’t hold that against him! His career involves project management for Merseytravel and includes planning, oversight, and the development of many of the huge infrastructure projects in the region. Mike was one of the first people to join the church and has consistently had a passion for Jesus and His Church family. He loves creating moments for people to connect with each other, coming alongside to help others and seeing them grow in their faith. Mike is often a spark of creativity, so is naturally at the hub and heart of all that the church do together.

Dave is married to Suzanna and they have 3 daughters. Recently they have been experiencing the joys of being grandparents – all the joy with none of the pain of those nights! Dave and Suzanna joined the church back in 1984 and Dave taught in a local secondary school for 14 years before working in the church full time. In his role as a leader, Dave as a creative speaker and anointed worship leader equips and encourages people.

If something happens in the church it is highly likely that Amanda has had a part in its preparation, planning or implementation…. Or all 3! Her creativity brings many of the activities of the church alive and she has been at the heart of the church administration for nearly 25 years. If you need to know something don’t google it …. Ask Amanda!

Following University years, Harry married his childhood sweetheart Bonnie and then they went off together serving as missionaries into the Philippines for over two years. They returned to Southport, started a family and Harry joined the church staff team as our student /young adults co-ordinator. Harry is creative, has a great teaching gift – and has seen many students find and grow in their faith and devotion to Jesus. He is now part of the senior leadership team and in addition also oversees our grants and media work.

The Family Life Centre acts as a conference venue that helps generate income that supports the running of the building. This is all overseen by Ali Rothwell who, after 25 years, left a senior management role in a local 6th Form College and became our Conference Director. Ali has seen many improvements and developments in the facilities available, as well as developing the reputation of the FLC, as an outstanding conference venue. In addition, as a deacon in the church, Ali oversees various aspects of church life and uses her prophetic gift in teaching and worship.

Paul is our onsite caretaker. Paul has been working for the church for 15 years, ensuring the facilities are presented well and that our guests have everything they need, in a warm, clean and friendly environment.

Bonnie is our children’s worker on staff who works part-time. She co-ordinates our Junior Church team ministry, heading up a wonderful team of volunteers, who host our weekly parent and toddler group called ‘Playaway’.
