Covid-19 Update

Thank you for coming to this page to see what we are doing to serve our students and young adults during this time. We have been furiously working behind the scenes to put our battle plan into place. Though, at this current moment we cannot be physically present we have put online communities into place to make sure that everyone can find relationship and space to grow in the face of isolation:

We are set on empowering a generation and believe in building an environment where you can be inspired, encouraged and challenged in every area to live life to the full.

Lives that are lived to the full are ones that impact others, we want to create space where you can grow and flourish by being a part of our church community and all that we are involved in.

How are we keeping connected?

  • Cadres (a small group of people specially trained for a particular purpose or profession): The student group has been broken down into small groups of three or four. Each week, they’ll meet online with a cup of tea and talk about life, what God is doing and how they can be praying for one another. This will be a primary point of care to make sure that everyone is being looked after. If you aren’t in a cadre and want to be, please get in touch (info below)
  • Blueprints: This is our midweekly gathering where we meet online. We’ll share something from scripture and then break down into smaller groups online to discuss and pray together. This is every Wednesday, 7.30pm and done through Zoom. Get in touch if you'd like to get involved.

  • Daily encouragements: Aside from the content that the church will put together, we will put daily encouragements out via our Blueprints Instagram page. This will be a thought, encouragement, scripture, challenge, testimony etc.

  • Buddy system: put together with someone in the church to share in life and fellowship. A chance to extend the love of God to those most vulnerable from isolation.

  • Recommendations: of songs, books, podcasts and films/series from our students to keep you going through this time (and a chance to get to know them a bit better). (Instagram)

  • Fresh content: An opportunity to go deeper into God as we look to provide new material for everyone that wants to engage. (Instagram)

  • Plus more as we get creative

We have no idea how long this will last but we are ready and determined to see God’s Kingdom breakthrough, for people to be connected, and opportunities to care for others, in and out of church.

We host a midweek small group called 'Blueprints'. It is a great opportunity to meet and connect with new people.

Sometimes we share a meal, play ten pin bowling or just go for a walk, there is something for everyone in our regular programme of social events.

At 'Blueprints', we believe it's important to have an environment where you have the freedom to share your experiences and ask any questions that you might have about life and faith. We’re confident you’ll feel right at home with us.

In addition to our midweek get togethers, we also join up with the wider church for our Sunday morning celebrations at The Community Church followed by a free lunch.

Don't worry about transport to and from the meetings as we arrange that free of charge!

We’d love to meet you and introduce you to one of our amazing 'Blueprints' leaders.

Just get in contact with the church office to find out more ( 01704 500911 or email info@communitychurch.org.uk ).
